Staff

We couldn't do this without a qualified team!

Mother Teresa Maternity Home provides round-the-clock staffing to meet our residents’ needs. The Staff at MTMH is well-versed in trauma-informed care. We have assembled a team of people who have backgrounds in education, family counseling, midwifery, nursing, sober living support, mental health care and domestic violence support.

While our program purposefully refers residents out to durable community-based services, the mentorship available from our Staff is an ongoing resource for each individual. Mother Teresa Maternity Home encourages team members to create enrichment opportunities for residents as well, based on each team member’s skills and interests. As a result, we are able to share a variety of healthy hobbies with our residents, from arts and crafts to gardening to cooking, hiking and many more enriching activities.

MTMH encourages professional growth by bringing in speakers and providing training for Staff members on a broad range of subjects, from CPR training to mental health first aid, from the warning signs of trafficking to the services offered by local community partners such as Marshal CARES and Public Health.

With empathy and compassion, our Staff works daily with residents to provide guidance and mentorship as stronger futures are built.
